About

Paul Wetzel is a 24-year-old actor from Essen, Germany, who grew up in Texas, USA.

Before pursuing acting, he spent four years as a video game designer, specialising in writing dialogue for murder mystery and role-playing games — an experience that continues to shape his approach to character and storytelling.

He is currently training at Mulholland Academy in Amsterdam and often portrays intelligent, morally complex young men — often outwardly grounded and well-meaning, with a subtle tension beneath the surface.

Paul has appeared in several short films, including Concrete Tremors and Little Miss Looney. Alongside acting, he writes and produces his own work, and in 2026 co-founded the film company Double Bluff Studios with Jacqueline Geihe.

His work is influenced by character-driven dramas and stories centered on anti-heroes.
